nextSource invites you to join our talent community for HR Assistants . Our client, located in upper Manhattan, is often looking for them to support their ongoing business needs.
When you register and join the community, our goal is to engage you as soon as possible by one of our recruiters, who will discuss your background and the needs of the client. Then, the next time the position is available, and your skillset is a match, you will be contacted and, if interested, you may be submitted for the opportunity.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing of short-term visitors within the Shared Service Core. This includes but is not limited to students, faculty, and researchers.
• Assist with processing J-1 visas for visitors in collaboration with ISSO.
• Ensures that all compliance requirements are completed as applicable (e.g., Medical Surveillance, Research/Lab Trainings).
• Assist with processing student appointments including but not limited to Graduate Research Assistants, Teaching Assistants and Short-term Student Casuals.
• Assist with managing time-off tracking sheets and vacation accruals.
• Other HR-related tasks upon request.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School or undergraduate student.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate students enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or a related field.

Pay Range:

• $30 - $33/hourly
