May-Grant has the following position available:

Position Title: Medical Billing Insurance A/R Specialist (FT)

Work Schedule/Location: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts 8-4:30 Primarily Remote with occasional in office days

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Medical Billing:

• Submitting electronic claims
• Follow up on Insurance Denials and Take Backs
• Payment Posting

General Billing Duties

• Handling incoming patient billing/collection phone calls from patients
• Reconciliation of Daily Deposit
• Assist Desk Staff with patient billing questions and concerns
• Charge Entry assistance

General Office Support

Cross-training to support Desk Staff

Requirements/skills include but not limited to:

• Minimum of 1 years of accounts receivable and/or collection experience desired
• Ability to multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Ability to recognize, evaluate and solve problems and correct errors
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills for dealing with patients
• Ability to handle confidentiality
• Proficient organizational skills
• Proficient computer skills including EXCEL
• OB/GYN experience not necessary, but preferred
