LSU Health Sciences Center, Human Development Center seeks to hire two Family &Community Specialist to manage all aspects of family participation in the Early Head Startprogram from recruitment to transition. This includes overall eligibility, recruitment, selection,enrollment, attendance, and transition support activities. In addition, the Family & CommunitySpecialist is responsible for providing technical assistance, training, monitoring and analysis ofall family needs data. The person in this position will also oversee implementation of programpolicies and procedures guiding family and community engagement to include familypartnership agreements, parenting education, and parent participation in program governance.A Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field and two years of experience in a socialservice agency that supports families is required.
