The Senior Accountant is a hands-on position leading the daily accounting activities and financial reporting of a stable mission based non-profit organization.
Duties/Responsibilities :
Inputs Accounts Payable invoices, secures proper authorizations and generates check runs for each property.
Manages Accounts Receivable and maintains bank reconciliations for each property.
Maintain and update the fixed asset reporting of the properties and management company.
Provides auditors with assistance; gathers required account information and documents to perform annual audits.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow.
Prepares and distributes financial and other related reports as required by investors and government related organizations.
Maintain the chart of accounts.
Ensure account reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations are current.
Performs other related duties as required.
