As the Bottle Shop Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operations of our tasting room. Job Responsibilities:

• Opening/Closing the shop as per schedule
• Track all wine moved from warehouse to Bottle Shop for sale
• Fill bar orders and track wine from the Bottle Shop to the bar
• Manage and facilitate Bottle Shop events
• General merchandising and inventory control
• Oversee the opening/closing procedures
• Manage the inventory of wines and gift shop items
• Train Bottle Shop staff
• Monitor sales progress and provide feedback to staff
• Coordinate with staff to efficiently manage visitors and provide wine education
• Maintain a friendly, inviting, and clean environment

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of wine and winetasting experiences, preferred
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in a retail setting, management roles preferred
• Strong leadership skills and a track record of success
• Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Italian is a plus
• Dependable, reliable, and motivated
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Winery/tasting room experience
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
• Passion for wine and willingness to learn more
• RAMP certification required and maintained
