A global law firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate to join its New York City office.

The firm’s international debt finance team has the expertise to structure and close the types of financings required by domestic and international clients, including debt finance, hedge funds, private equity, and mezzanine funds.

Experience:

• Ideal candidate would have some debt finance experience including representation of private equity firms and their portfolio companies, including corporate clients, across the globe in a wide variety of complex domestic and cross-border debt financing transactions.
• Substantial experience including acquisition finance, recapitalizations, asset-based lending, liability management transactions and restructuring is beneficial but not imperative.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commitment papers, credit agreements, and collateral documents is also helpful.
• Candidate should have outstanding academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comparable law firm experience is preferred.
