Now seeking a professional for the role of Junior Supervisor - OFAC at BSA AML Dept., who will report to Manager - OFAC in implementing the Compliance guidelines.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Conduct review of alerts generated by the sanctions screening system (Lexis Nexis Bridger Insight XG), opening investigations, and escalating alerts requiring further investigation to the Manager (OFAC) as per the Bank’s policy.
• Operate the OFAC desk and respond to real time wire transfers for OFAC related hits; research and determine potential matches.
• Assist BSA AML Officer in preparing, updating, and maintaining the OFAC risk assessment.
• Communicate with correspondent banks on a consistent basis on OFAC failed inquiries, request additional information, documentation and provide updates.
• Co-ordinate with Paying & Receiving department to ensure wires alerted for OFAC are released and held on time.
• Provide backup coverage for released, rejected, or blocked wire transactions, Customer Accounts or proposals.
• Assist the manager OFAC in timely preparation and submission of daily, monthly, quarterly reports to Management.
• Timely submission of error-free regulatory reports.

Requirement:

• Experience of 2 year in banking compliance with a good understanding of BSA, AML and OFAC.
• Prior experience in sanctions screening and clearance of intermediary wire OFAC sanctions alerts, generated by internal screening tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to Senior Management.
• Ability to build rapport with internal stakeholders and examiners.
• Experience establishing and meeting goals, tracking and driving optimization opportunities and presenting progress of the same.
• Should work well individually and in team. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure, analytical approach for problem solving.

Preference:

• CAMS or CFCS certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in Lexis Nexis Bridger Insight XG.
• Case Management application experience.
• University degree.

Benefits: The pay range for the positions will be $50,000 - $60,000 (per annum) plus group life insurance, health, and dental insurance (fully paid for by the bank) and 401k benefits.
