Job Summary

The Route Manager is responsible for managing route operations in all aspects, including collections and deposits of vended gaming, amusement equipment and ATM service, service to equipment, and overseeing equipment placement in locations. The position requires excellent customer service with all Golden Route Operations customers and effective communication with all company employees to accomplish organizational goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Collect gaming machines and amusement games in vended locations using Route Software collection devices. Responsible for cleaning and basic service while at location, which includes checking bulb, printer ribbons, paper, etc. Responsible for syncing collection devices to upload data to Route Plus.
• Reconcile and balance to collection sheets done on location and take deposit to the bank.
• Reconcile all ATM fills and balance funds accurately.
• Responsible for repairing and updating amusement and gaming equipment.
• Respond promptly to customer needs; solicit customer feedback to improve customer service; respond to requests for service and assistance in a friendly and timely manner; meet commitments made to customers; handle difficult customer situations professionally and report to owners.
• Communicate effectively with owners to determine any equipment placement at current and new locations.
• Assist in moving and installing gaming and amusement equipment at customer locations.
• Oversee any league structure in place with regards to accounting, scheduling, and accuracy of the league.
• Ensure all required paperwork for collections, service, and moves is completed and given to appropriate office personnel.
• Maintain a clean working environment and ensure all projects are cleaned up when finished.
• Maintain clear direction and communication with all direct reports in a professional manner.
• Report the depletion of any inventory such as hardware, light bulbs, plush etc.
• Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.
• Assist in other responsibilities as assigned.

Education

One year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be insurable by the company.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug and background checks.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of League software and Route accounting software preferred.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, managers, and across functions (written and verbal).
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be organized with strong attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has direct reports.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works around gaming and amusement equipment daily. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is exposed to moderate conditions including temperatures ranging from 50°F to 90°F. Normal conditions are climate controlled.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands or arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds without assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds without assistance.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use repetitive motions with upper extremities, feel, reach with hands and arms.

Travel

Daily travel within the designated area is required for this position.
