Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Production Assistant. This role will involve supporting production managers in overseeing and coordinating various projects within our aerospace and medical sectors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for project management, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong desire to learn and grow within the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Production Manager in planning, organizing, and executing projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, machinists, quality control, and procurement to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and identify any potential risks or issues that may arise.
• Prepare and update project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure materials and services required for project execution.
• Support in resolving project-related issues and discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Assist in conducting post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned for future projects.
• Assist on the shop floor as required to expedite movement of priority parts.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic industry.
