Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental hygienist to provide quality care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with dental procedures, maintaining infection control protocols, and ensuring patient comfort.

Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and materials
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and record medical documentation
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with front desk duties, including answering phone calls, greeting patients, and handling administrative tasks

Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology
- Familiarity with Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Proficiency in infection control protocols
- Understanding of dental anatomy and procedures
- Ability to take accurate vital signs
- Experience with medical imaging techniques
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
