Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan and implement individual and group daily learning experiences for children that advance their school readiness skills and stimulates language, social, emotional, and motor skills growth. Oversee the management and supervision of children in order to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Ensure implementation of the agency approved curriculum plan. Ensure progress in all areas of child development and early learning as outlined in the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, Teaching Strategies Gold and Kindergarten School Readiness Skills. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Arkansas Minimum Licensing requirements and other federal and state regulations. Maintain records and reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely information is entered into agency data tracking systems. Conduct home visits in accordance with Head Start Performance Standards. Collaborate with community partners and service providers to ensure quality services are provided to children and families.

Supervise center staff and address performance issues as needed, provide mentoring and training, and complete formal evaluations as required. Plan and prepare special events or activities. Represent FACT, Inc. by participating in community collaborations and organizations. Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children, families, and staff in accordance with Agency policy and legal requirements.

Qualifications General
Have and maintain a valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Pass state Criminal Background Check, Central Registry Check, and/or FBI Background Check if applicable.

Knowledge and Skills Education/Experience
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. One year teaching preschool children plus one year supervisory experience

Pay: $27,499.00 - $31,872.00 per year
