FACT, INC is Hiring a Program Manager in El Dorado, Arkansas Near Prescott, AR

This is a 12-month position.

Position Summary: Responsible for the overall operation of a multi-program center to insure quality services for a positive nurturing environment are provided for children and families.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the operation and maintenance of a safe, clean, healthy, and productive working environment, including both indoor and outdoor areas. Oversee the management and supervision of children in order to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment. Observe and monitor classroom activities to ensure implementation of the agency-approved curriculum plan and progress in all areas of child development and early learning as outlined in the Head Start Child Development and Early Learning Framework, Teaching Strategies Gold and Arkansas Kindergarten School Readiness Goals. Form relationships with parents to foster effective learning environments for the child. Ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, Arkansas Minimum Licensing requirements and other federal and state regulations. Maintain records and reporting systems and ensure accurate and timely information is entered into agency data tracking systems. Collaborate with community partners and service providers to ensure quality services are provided to children and families. Supervise center staff and address performance issues as needed, provide mentoring and training, and complete formal evaluations as required. Plan and prepare special events or activities. Represent FACT, Inc. by participating in community collaborations and organizations. Attend local, out of town, and overnight meetings, training, and conferences as required, and complete a minimum of 15 professional development clock hours per year. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications: Have and maintain a valid Driver’s license and vehicle insurance. Have an initial health examination. Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification. Pass state Criminal Background Check, Central Registry Check, and/or FBI Background Check if applicable.

Knowledge and Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; ability to respond to sensitive inquiries and complaints, reports and correspondence; ability to effectively present information to parents, staff, and the community. Ability to define problems, collect and analyze data, establish facts, and make concise and accurate reports and solve problems. Ability to compute percentages and interpret and develop graphs. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units for measure. Ability to write and speak using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. Ability to use agency computers and software programs. Ability to supervise and manage center staff efficiently and effectively within the guidelines of agency policies.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Combination of five years teaching, management, and supervisory experience preferred.
