The Parent to Parent Coordinator will provide overall leadership, support, and supervision of all parent mentors for the Parent to Parent Program. Work closely with parent mentors to guide and direct their skills and abilities to successfully meet their contractual responsibilities. Provide program supervision and monitoring of the Parent to Parent Program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

● Provide oversight of the Parent to Parent program to ensure efficient program operations.

● Actively recruit and retain Parent Mentors.

● Manage Parent to Parent teams and ensure contractual guidelines are being met.

● Follow referral process and actively engage referral resources while targeting the determined population.

● Handle confidentiality and mandated reporting requirements throughout the duration of involvement

● Assign Parent to Parent cases weekly and provide monthly 1:1 support.

● Ensure all weekly, bi-weekly and monthly duties are completed.

● Ensure all duties on weekly checklist are completed, including Outlook calendars.

● Ensure clinical collaboration meeting for the Parent Mentors on at least a monthly basis for clinical issues that arise in the provision of services.

● Provide and/or schedule supplemental required training for Parent Mentors and Parent Mentors in training to meet program requirements and foster ongoing personal and professional development opportunities to Parent Mentors that include speaking engagements, committee representation, trainings, conferences as available.

● Implement use of statewide, standardized paperwork and tools including forms in the Parent to Parent Handbook, referral/intake form, monthly tracking form, consent/confidentiality form and Parent to Parent application.

● Attend local, statewide meetings and attend all required training.

● Collaborate with and communicate with OKDHS as necessary.

● Work with supervisor and CQI Director to ensure that all data is completed and sent out in a neat and timely manner.

● Prioritize the use of best and evidence-based practices, including researching programming trends and current practices being used in other jurisdictions.

● Assist with Council on Accreditation (COA) standards and the implementation of our Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) process

● Provide crisis support to sub-contractors as needed and make appropriate referrals.

● Create, maintain, and submit accurate records and documents in a timely manner.

● Provide regular individual supervision to Parent Mentors.

● Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of the program using knowledge to ensure that client needs, agency standards and funding requirements are met.

● Maintain documentation, client files, and statistics as required by agency policies and funding sources.

● Manage client and outcomes tracking in client database.

● Use outcome data to manage sub-contractors and program evaluation.

● Monitor trends and make informed decisions regarding service provisions.

● Serve as role model for sub-contractors and clients by exhibiting expected skills and behavior such as, appropriate communication and boundaries.

● Travel regionally and statewide as needed.

● Perform other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

● Must be at least 21 years of age

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in human services or a related field from an accredited four-year college with minimum of two years of full-time experience in Child Welfare Services or 6 years of relative experience in Child Welfare.

● Experience directing and/or supervising the work of others or the ability and willingness to receive training in this role is preferred.

● 2 years of clinical experience providing trauma informed care.

● Pass a thorough background check, Department of Transportation check, pre-employment physical, drug test as required by Department of Human Services.

● Possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record
