ESSENTIAL DUTIES and PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Explore and research new opportunities that meet a need/gap in our services, align with our vision and mission and have potential for agency growth.
  • The ability to develop and build relationships with individuals with lived experience/expertise and take their input into consideration while building programs that help children and families win.
  • Collaborate with CEO, CFO and program leaders to develop and monitor all approved program
  • This position is responsible for the leadership of the following teams: transitional living, counseling, mentorship, foster care, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Act as an agency liaison with contracting agencies and community partners.
  • Provide programmatic oversight and guidance regarding outcomes and impact.
  • Regularly provide clear and candid feedback to teammates and the executive leadership team.
  • Coach program leadership to reach their full potential and develop Circle of Care’s team effectively.
  • Provide leadership support on employment issues within programs.
  • Ensure that all program team members understand and comply with Circle of Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Serve as a member of the Executive and Agency Wide Leadership Team
  • Raise public awareness of Circle of Care through speaking engagements at churches and other community functions across Oklahoma.
  • Travel statewide
  • Perform other duties as assigned by President/CEO

SKILLS and ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and relationship management experience
  • Experience expanding programs and identifying contract or funding sources to enhance program growth and development.
  • Proven track record of effectively leading a performance and outcome-based program with a family and children’s service organization.
  • Experience in operational strategies that have effectively grown a program.
  • Experience recruiting, managing, and developing a strong team
  • Ability to communicate thoughts and concerns clearly, both orally and in written form
  • Excellent interpersonal and multidisciplinary project skills
  • Collaborative work experience with internal as well as external partners and other organizations
  • Integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed with demonstrated passion for Circle of Care’s mission and vision.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment
  • Advanced computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects of up to 20 pounds
  • Capable of ascending and descending stairs

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Education: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Business Administration, or other related area of study from an accredited
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ progressive leadership experience leading and directing programs that serve youth and families.
  • Pass a thorough background check (including fingerprinting), Department of Transportation check, pre-employment physical, and drug test as required by Department of Human Services
  • Possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and a good driving record

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Master's Degree (Required)
  • 10 years progressive leadership experience (Required)
  • Experience directing programs that serve youth and families
