Responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds and assist the Facilities Supervisor manage the maintenance department staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees maintenance of agency physical facilities and grounds.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA, OPWDD and SED health and safety regulations of physical plant and ensures compliance.
• Schedules preventative maintenance and ensures completion.
• Maintains inventory and safe storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Prioritizes work orders and ensures completion of work requested by staff.
• Performs checks of work in progress or completed and walks ground weekly to ensure cleanliness.
• Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
• Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility.
• Participates on emergency preparedness planning team and safety committee.
• Maintains an approved list of vendors.
• Arranges work projects including obtaining bids as required.
• Oversees work performed by vendors/contractors.
• Applies, or assists with application, for required environmental/building permits.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $63,400.00 - $65,000.00 per year
