Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Machine Shop Supervisor to oversee our machinist, welding, and powder-coating paint. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating various machinery and possess strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the shop floor
- Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards
- Train, mentor, and evaluate shop staff
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
- Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment

Skills:
- Proficiency in operating lathes, milling machines, CNC machines, and presses
- Experience with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles

- Knowledge of powder-coating paint and welding

- Familiarity with CAD software for design purposes
- Ability to operate forklifts safely
- Competence in programming machinery for specific tasks
