We specialize in treating children, adolescents, and adults experiencing emotional or behavioral crises. Our evidence-based, person/family-centered approach ensures comprehensive and personalized care for every patient.

Hospital Overview:
BryLin Hospital is staffed by dedicated mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and therapists. Our interdisciplinary team provides round-the-clock care and supervision, prioritizing patient safety and well-being. We offer compassionate support, monitor progress, and intervene in crisis situations as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage and inspire a diverse team of social workers, discharge planners, and counseling professionals.
  • Group Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and lead process and psychoeducational groups.
  • Clinical Oversight: Provide guidance on psycho-social assessments, treatment plans, safety plans, and individual counseling sessions.
  • Discharge Planning: Assist in coordinating comprehensive discharge plans for patients.
  • Multi-disciplinary Collaboration: Lead meetings to optimize patient care.
  • Department Coordination: Organize and oversee all activities within the Social Work Department.
  • Quality Improvement: Assess and improve patient outcomes and departmental processes through data analysis and quality audits.
  • Budget Management: Manage departmental budgets to ensure efficiency.
  • Staff Development: Conduct clinical supervision and provide ongoing education to staff.
  • External Liaison: Establish professional relationships with external agencies and client systems.
  • Programming Development: Develop and evaluate therapeutic programming activities for patients.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in social work.
  • Licensed
  • Minimum of five (5) years of social work experience in healthcare.
  • Three (3) years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
  • Strong professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
