General Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing leadership through the life cycle of strategic projects including developing their initial scope and gaining early alignment with stakeholders. A Program Manager will support the daily management of program activities and assume responsibility for activities including: ensuring compliance with contractual commitments; management of multi-functional teams; interaction / coordination with internal and external stakeholders; oversight of business rhythms; coordination with operations and global supply chain teams; and risk and schedule management. The successful Program Manager thrives at maintaining communications, both up and down, for maximum productivity. As Program Manager, you are responsible for one or more cross-functional initiatives. You are extremely detail oriented, with extreme focus over all facets of your program; both large and small. You are, and are viewed by others, as the subject matter expert for all initiatives you manage.
Coordinates and manages all activities and is responsible for meeting all contractual obligations on assigned programs. You will serve as the primary communication link between the customer and SEKO Operations. You will advise management and the customer of current status and potential problem areas on a regular basis and take appropriate corrective actions as required. The Program Manager typically has responsibility for several business units of a larger customer of major impact to the MedTec division. These may be new and/or ongoing programs. As a general rule, the total value of these programs will typically be valued at between $112 Million dollars, however, because of technical complexity or customer approach, the dollar value may not fully represent the difficulty of the work involved. The Program Manager does not have direct reports but will coordinate the activities of dedicated Client resources. On occasion, the Program Manager may train Project Associates.
Manages several related projects, often with the intention of improving performance throughout the organization. Covers management functions throughout the life of the program. Provide overall support and management of the contract in support of the customer. Lead all programs and support staff in daily execution of the work and provide strategic leadership and support to the overall program. Manage customer requirements, track deliverables and maintain budgets for the program.
