Your experience with phone systems, related peripherals, common software programs and operating systems is essential to successful project completion. You will complete proper inventory and asset recording processes prior to and during delivery and complete appropriate paperwork as required for customer acceptance.Responsibilities:Install, configure and support new hardware and software infrastructure for PBX and voicemail systems (NEC Diamond and Cisco Gold).Provide peripheral support of ancillary telephony systems, including but not limited to MTS Call Accounting, Voice Print Call Recording, AMTELCO Infinity and Intelligent Series, UM8700, and Well Communications paging.Provide support for overhead speaker technologies.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks and participating in professional organizations; and obtaining Cisco certificationsReport network operational statusUpgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releasesApply configurations to routing and switching equipmentApply configuration of hosted IP voice servicesPerform basic configuration of firewallsProvide remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installationProvide remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installationBe responsible for system maintenance of network/internet/intranet hardwareComplete appropriate paperwork as required for customer acceptanceTravel to customer locations and possess a flexible work scheduleOther duties as assigned QualificationsRequirements:Foundational knowledge of installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructuresFoundational ability to troubleshoot network issuesExcellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are requiredGeneral knowledge and ability to provide day to day support for data network infrastructure supporting voice, data video conferencing, unified communications and collaboration systems and customers.Assist in monitoring network performance criteria and measurement methods.Exposure to any combination of the following: Cisco UCCX; Cisco VoIP; Cisco Agent Desktop; UCS servers; CUCM; Unity Connection; SIP Gateways; Cisco-based routing; switching; wireless and ACE cluster environmentAdditional InformationAbout nfrastructure:nfrastructure partners with the world’s most admired brands to design, build, and operate infrastructure and applications for digital business.
