Topsider Building Systems is Hiring a Production Manager Near Clemmons, NC
Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designers and fabricators of high-end post & beam, timber frame residential and light commercial building components and structures since 1968 seeks candidates for Production Manager at its facilities in Clemmons, NC. This position’s primary focus will be in the structural fabrication dept. which fabricates large floor and roof structural components (post & beams) using glulam beams.
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree, or equivalent in experience.
BASIC CRITERIA: Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on manufacturing and/or production management in building component fabrication, truss building, or other similar discipline. Candidates must be computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.), highly competent at reading shop drawings and architectural plans, and have familiarity with lumber, plywood and other common building materials as well as woodworking equipment. This is a manufacturing position, a construction supervision or homebuilding position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position contemplates shared production management responsibility for a relatively small job-shop type workforce divided into five departments, including shipping & receiving and maintenance.
COMPENSATION: From $55k/year to start based on qualifications and experience.

Topsider Homes’ modern facilities are located on its 15-acre campus 10-minutes west of Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
