This position provides general administrative support to the Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) staff, clients and Parenting Manager.

Responsible for all aspects of intake and eligibility determination and referrals.

In addition, you will receive a SIGN-ON INCENTIVE OF 40 HOURS OF VACATION TIME OFF AFTER SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF YOUR 90 DAYS PROBATIONARY PERIOD, TO BE TAKEN WITHIN YOUR FIRST YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT.

Skills / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates degree preferred and a minimum of two (2) years' experience in data entry and / or data processing, administrative support position requiring independent thinking, diverse support skills, and excellent customer service / communication skills.
• Familiar with community resources and experience with children and families or human services preferred.
• Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Word and Excel required. Experience working in a database preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation with a valid Florida Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to read, write and effectively communicate in English.

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Must possess excellent organizational and case management skills and be familiar with services offered to families in Broward County.

Able to work flexible hours. Able to perform in an empowered environment by working collaboratively with other professionals, personnel and direct service providers.

Must be familiar and comfortable working with diverse populations.
