JOB SUMMARY:
Plan, Promote and Lead F.A.T.H.E.R. Programming
JOB LOCATION:
Fort, Lauderdale, FL
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the program.
Hires, supervises, evaluates, disciplines and terminates staff in the SNAP® BOYS and GIRLS program.
Develops and ensures the implementation of an annual SNAP® work plan.
Participates in long-term planning
Maintains regular communication with designated Florida Network Staff for program consultation and fidelity adherence monitoring for the SNAP® program.
Completes SNAP® Facilitator Training and all other required trainings.
Facilitates SNAP® Groups and completes fidelity adherence checklist for weekly groups.
Ensures all data and/or videos are entered within three (3) business days into NETMIS, JJIS, ASEBA and One Drive.
Oversees all client files are complete, accurate and comprehensive with updated information recorded in a timely manner.
-Create and update education materials and outreach flyers. -Oversee events such as meet-ups for dads.
-Develop and/or implement workshops and training. -Administratively collect program data, maintain program records and files, and perform routine administrative tasks, including report writing.
Oversee inventory, order, store, and distribute program materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of (5) years equivalent experience in community outreach, family support or
related field.
-Experience in the social services field, preferably working with hard-to-reach, underserved, diverse populations. -Experience facilitating groups and training. -Experience working with dads is preferable. -Experience working with men in social/human services or fatherhood programming or experience in case
management, counseling, and providing direct services to fathers/families and knowledge of community resources preferred.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Ability to handle multi-phone lines effectively.
Working knowledge of office machines and equipment.
Strong proficiency with computers, data base entry and with the full Microsoft Office suite, email, and internet.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; above-average interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information and apply appropriate judgment.
