Hope Community Resources is a non-profit organization providing community supports to hundreds of individuals and families who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injury and mental health challenges. The Mental Health Supervisor/Case Manager (MHSCM) provides services to Hope’s treatment/support recipients through their work in both Mental Health supervision and case management. This role is expected to be a blended and dynamic role based on the present and changing needs of Hope’s Behavioral Health Clinic as determined by Hope’s Director of Mental Health Services.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaches, coaches and mentors the Mental Health Associates (MHA’s) and dually certified MHA/Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure the delivery of quality services.
• Oversees the delivery of services to treatment/support recipients as delineated in each treatment plan, utilizing strategies in alignment with organizational culture and the management and service philosophy of Hope.
• Provides case management and community based services to individuals on their caseloads, their families, and/or therapeutic home providers.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health, Social Science, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field required. Emphasis of study in developmental disabilities strongly preferred. Experience in lieu of education may be accepted on a one for one basis in appropriate fields.
• Two years of experience in social services, one year of which involves responsibility in case management and/or supervision required. Also, two years of experience working with children or adults who experience severe emotional disturbances and/or mental illness required.
