JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support professional to join our team. As a Technical Support specialist, you will be responsible for End of Day processing, including assisting internal and external customers with questions or problems related to IT products offered by the bank.
DUTIES:
- Performs End of Day processing to include Check Imaging and Core Banking system.
- Performs ATM reconciliation.
- Assists customers in the use of online banking software products. Answers questions about products and services.
- Resolves problems that are within authority to resolve. Refers problems beyond authority to supervisor, along with their recommendation.
- Troubleshoots any online banking software, hardware, and network problems.
- Coordinates with technical support and vendors as necessary to quickly resolve.
- Coordinates with Bank Trainer, the training of internal employees to ensure up-to-date knowledge of online banking.
- Notifies customers of new features available through product updates.
- Provides training on IT products to customers.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in computer science or related field of study.
- Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- Must be able to work hours Monday through Friday, 11 am to 8 pm or until End of Day processing is completed.
- Requires a minimum of 30 meg home internet service.
- Possess analytical ability along with ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of operating IBMi series systems and IT products necessary.
- Must possess excellent work ethics along with communication skills.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing skills and flexibility necessary.
- Possess the ability to interface with others inside and outside the organization.
- Ability to work remotely. Must be available within travel distance of no more than 45 minutes of any Monticello Bank office location.
