TI Fluid Systems is Hiring a Mechatronics Engineer II - 33778 Near Auburn Hills, MI
Position Summary: Mechatronic expert for Thermal Management projects, using state of the art tools and innovative technologies. Main Tasks: Engineering internal and customer contact in case of actuator, sensors, motors and software control relevant topics. Support of AQP AET and serial launch projects in case of E/E architecture, requirements and performance. Review and evaluate customer system E/E requirements and define TI project specifications. Engineering responsible for the definition of E/E architecture and components. Improvement (performance and cost) of customer E/E architecture. Review and evaluation of Thermal System E/E test setup and results. Extend E/E and mechatronic knowledge of the MAS team by developing system trainings and documentation. Generate and maintain engineering standards and guidelines. Collaboration with other departments, customers and development partners. Carry over of new tasks and responsibilities given the job description. Professional Experience: At least 5 years experience in the field of Thermal systems in the automotive industry Demonstrated skills in automotive E/E system understanding Demonstrated skills in mechanics of valves, pumps and compressors Ability to coordinate global improvement efforts and drive best practices across multiple locations Demonstrated skills in project management, team building and problem solving Technical Experience: Understanding of Thermal systems for ICE and battery electrical vehicles Proven knowledge of automotive bus standards (CAN / LIN) as well as troubleshooting and signal analysis. Proven knowledge of EMC/ESD- as well as NVH - requirements and testing. Proven knowledge of best practice of wire harness and electrical connection routing and interfaces.
