Pay Range : $ - $, plus shift differential

Job Summary :

Performs actions relative to the movement of materials into the plant, to the production floor, to finished goods storage and to the loading of trucks.

Duties and Requirements of the Job :

• Must be capable of operating a forklift safely around equipment and personnel.
• Unload all incoming trucks within their shift.
• Move all inspected components to the proper storage area.
• Will be required to work with all Quality Engineers, Plant Supervisors and other salary personnel as needed.
• Perform daily component counts.
• Complete daily hi-lo check form.
• Makes all local deliveries within the correct window time.
• Assists with dock work (loading and unloading of trucks).
• Sorts all returnable containers daily for consistency.
• Keeps driving locations clear (including outside area).

Training, Knowledge and Experience :

• years-related work experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills.
• Must successfully obtain forklift certification.

Physical Requirements to Perform the Duties of the Job :

Regular and predictable attendance.

Working Conditions :

• Occasionally lifts up to pounds and frequently carries up to pounds.
• Maneuvers in, around, under and about factory and / or laboratory equipment on a regular and continuous basis.
• Some of work time is spent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
• Works at telephone answering equipment, design equipment and at a PC.
• Works within an automotive components manufacturing office and laboratory setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes / chemicals.
• May be required to travel to plant and / or customer sites worldwide.
