TI Fluid Systems is Hiring a Mechatronics Engineer II - 33778 Near Auburn Hills, MI

Position Summary:
Mechatronic expert for Thermal Management projects, using state of the art tools and innovative technologies.
Main Tasks:
  • Design and develop mechatronic systems and components, including hardware, mechanical structures, sensors, actuators, and control algorithms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications.
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the next higher system and its integration requirements, ensuring alignment with overall system architecture.
  • Leverage knowledge of E/E (Electrical / Electronic) architecture to design and implement electrical systems that meet performance and safety requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and performance evaluations to optimize system performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO 14229, ISO 26262) and regulations, including Automotive SPICE (Software Process Improvement and Capability Determination).
  • Document design specifications, test procedures, and project updates.
  • Stay current with advancements in mechatronics technology and recommend innovative solutions to improve product performance and efficiency.
Professional Experience:
  • Proven at least 5 years of professional experience in mechatronic system, hardware, software and / or integration.
Technical Experience:
  • Familiarity with Automotive SPICE and other quality / engineering tools (e.g. FMEA).
Personal Competencies:
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter, responsible, and structured work style, as well as the ability for analytical thinking.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware, sensors, actuators, motors, and other electromechanical components and its validation.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
