Beyond A Resume seeks a Counsel with contract experience for our biotech client in Rockville, MD.

Job Overview:

As a Counsel, you will play a crucial role in providing legal advice and support to our organization. This position requires strong legal knowledge, excellent research and writing skills, and the ability to effectively negotiate and litigate.

Job Duties:

• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, vendor contracts and professional service agreements.
• Provide legal advice and guidance on a wide range of issues
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization
• Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies

Job Requirements:

• JD degree from an accredited law school
• 3 years’ experience in contract negotiation, drafting and management, with some experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare.
• Membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with biotech industry practices and trends is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $104,210.00 - $150,000.00 per year
