United Medical Center is Hiring a Project Manager Near Washington, DC

  • Responsible for the formulation of complete closure plan for Board Approval
  • Responsible for the implementation of board approved closure plan
  • Responsible for the development a comprehensive communication strategy and planning associated with the closure and create task and timelines for each service line, utilizing effective reporting and updating all stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Responsible for the communication of the closure process effectively to impacted internal and external stakeholders both at the hospital and at community meetings
  • Work with every department at every level for the creation of the closure plan and the implementation thereof to meet all regulatory requirements
  • Represent the hospital in all internal and external meetings regarding the hospital closure from the beginning to the final day of the hospital closure
  • Responsible for the preparation a detailed timeline and action plan for all areas of the hospital in relation to the closure plan. To include all clinical areas, including inpatient, outpatient and clinic services, ancillary services, patient transitions, patient transfers.
  • Assure that all legal assessments and resolutions, contracts and sub leases are all accomplished.
  • Oversee the completion and delegation of tasks associated with the Timelines taking into consideration the staff, assessment of people, processes, records and technology and as appropriate make recommendations
  • Lead all internal and external related Agencies and entities in the District of Columbia Government to coordinate and facilities adherence to all regulations necessary for the closure of the hospital.
  • And all other duties as assigned related to Hospital closure.

  • Demonstrates initiative; is action oriented and self-motivated.
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively in a multi-dimensional environment.
  • Proficient in the use of computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a deadline driven environment and management multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrate experience with hospital operations.

Responsible for the development and execution for a data-driven closure plan for the Not For Profit Hospital Corporation. The Project Manager will manage and coordinate all activities related to the closure of hospital. Ensures that key deliverables are accomplished in a timely manner and all reporting and major communication assignments to all stakeholders are given the utmost attention.
