Blue Technologies, Inc., a premier office equipment company is seeking an experienced DRIVER / DELIVERY PERSON to transport and deliver office equipment to and from customer sites.

This position includes daily customer interaction. Drivers are responsible for loading trucks, customer service, basic equipment set up at customer sites, completing basic paperwork, and performing routine building maintenance as needed.

Daily Duties:

• Communicate with the Delivery Supervisor prior to starting the daily route, and call after each stop with any issuers or follow up needed
• Load truck with demo fleet and newly acquired equipment including supplies
• Deliver, unwrap and unload machines at every demo and to all new customers. .
• Before leaving the customer location copies must be made from each tray, stapler, and duplexer
• Pick-up and reload demo equipment at any location and or any customer site
• Complete all necessary paperwork involved in the delivery and pick-up of equipment
• Clean truck of all trash and debris and assist in maintaining a clean, safe warehouse environment on a daily basis
• Responsible for minor repairs to the truck and machines, as necessary
• This position may require mandatory overtime at month-end

Skills Needed:

Drivers must have good customer service skills and good eye-hand coordination. Also must have good driving skills and maintain a clean driving record.

This job is physically labor intensive – good physical strength and health are a prerequisite.

We conduct pre-employment drug testing as well as post injury/accident.

Weight of equipment / boxes requiring assistance : ( pushing, pulling, lifting, lowering)

• Supplies: 50 lbs.
• Paper Carton: 40-50 lbs.
• Copiers: 600 lbs.(with assistance)
• Finishers: 150-200lbs. (with assistance)
• Drive automatic transmission on a 22’truck
