FirstPRO 360 is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Marietta, GA

firstPro is seeking an experienced payroll specialist to join a great team in the Marietta area. You will be responsible for start to finish payroll for ~1000 employees utilizing UKG payroll software. This position works on a hybrid schedule (3 days in 2 remote) and pays up to $80k. Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll accurately and efficiently using UKG.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in UKG, including new hires, terminations, and changes in pay or deductions.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and other earnings according to company policies and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).
  • Ensure timely withholding, remittance, and filing of all federal, state, and local taxes.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports for management and regulatory purposes.
  • Research and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date on current payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Continuously improve payroll processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Proven experience working with UKG (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) is a must .
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, calculations, deductions, and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
