Requirements & Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in quality control is a plus.

· Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in the automotive industry.

· Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.

Primary Duties Include:

· Conduct thorough visual inspections of automotive parts to identify any defects, imperfections, or deviations from specifications.

· Utilize precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators to verify dimensions and tolerances.

· Perform functional tests on parts to ensure they meet performance requirements and specifications.

· Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control data.

· Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as needed.

· Monitor manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards.

· Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols.

· Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.

· Other duties as assigned.
