Emerge, a global talent solutions company is currently recruiting a Human Resource Manager in Morristown, TN.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to align HR strategies with business objectives, driving organizational success.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the Human Resources Department within a dynamic, change-oriented environment.
  • Foster employee development to ensure alignment with company goals and aspirations.
  • Uphold fairness and consistency in the implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Establish and oversee occupational health programs in compliance with safety regulations, in coordination with the EHS Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of the Human Resources Department.
  • Administer existing policies and procedures while adapting them to meet evolving operational needs, ensuring equitable application.
  • Cultivate trusting relationships through effective coaching, mentoring, and conflict resolution. Coordinate training initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency.
  • Facilitate inclusive team-building activities.
  • Develop and update job classifications, descriptions, and compensation plans.
  • Oversee the maintenance of personnel records and ensure compliance with employment laws. Manage weekly and monthly payroll operations.
  • Administer workers' compensation and restricted duty programs.
  • Ensure timely submission of government reports and compliance with posting requirements.
  • Co-lead communication meetings and guide plant management.
  • Manage recruitment, selection, and termination processes for exempt and hourly employees. Administer employee benefit plans and programs.
  • Oversee Company Foundation grants and serve as a community ambassador for non-profits. Coordinate employee recreational, social activities, and other support services.
  • Represent Company on community boards, task forces, and committees.
  • Lead investigations for Integrity Line Reports.
  • Manage Employee Recognition Programs.
  • Ensure safety standards in HR areas.
  • Maintain excellent attendance.
  • May require business travel.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of B.S. degree in Business Management or related areas. Master’s degree preferred. SPHR or PHR is a plus.
  • At least 10 years experience in a Human Resources leadership role with a generalist orientation, 5 of those years being in a manufacturing environment.
  • Powerpoint and Excel skills

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
