Bishop Dunne Catholic School is seeking an Admissions Coordinator.

Are you an experienced admissions professional with a desire to be a part of a faith-based school? Do you enjoy interacting with students and parents as they explore educational and extra-curricular opportunities in middle school and high school?

Bishop Dunne is the only Catholic diocesan school that enrolls students in grades six through twelve. The Bishop Dunne student body mirrors the diversity of Dallas, with over 75% identifying as students of color, and approximately half the students are Catholic.

Job Requirements:

The candidate will be a dedicated professional who understands the joys and demands of an admissions department schedule.

Education/Experience Requirements:

Qualifications include:

Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing, development, or related field. Experience in secondary education admissions is preferred.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience in admissions
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Ravenna software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding school matters.
  • Ability to maintain current and accurate records according to school policy
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal form.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in the school community.
  • Ability to serve as a professional ambassador and representative of the school.
  • Experience and skill managing multiple deadlines and a complex calendar of assignments.
  • Experience and skill managing school admissions events.
  • Experience and skill using the FACTS financial aid program.

General Duties:

The Admissions Coordinator works with the Director of Admissions to manage enrollment and recruitment.

Specific Duties:

The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for:

  • Assisting with admissions, recruitment, marketing, and public relations;
  • Attending evening and weekend recruitment events;
  • Coordinate the Falcon for a Day shadow program;
  • Manage Ravenna event queues, including the scheduling of campus tours;
  • Co-mentor the Ambassador program which includes selecting, training, and communicating with student ambassadors;
  • Collaborate with Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and other key stakeholders on recruitment strategies to grow applicant pool;
  • Process applicant files through the Ravenna file queue;
  • Meet with prospective families and maintain a strong professional relationship throughout the admissions and enrollment process;
  • Assist with managing and tracking the enrollment process for prospective students and providing status reports to internal stakeholders;
  • Review completed applicant files and determine admission status, in coordination with the Director of Admissions and Financial Aid and other admission committee members;
  • Assisting parents with the financial aid process;
  • Advising the financial aid committee.;
