As a Quality Inspector, you will inspect finished products, components, or materials. You will ensure, they meet quality standards and specifications.

Job Description (primary responsibilities)

* Conducting visual inspections of products to identify defects

* Using various tools and equipment to measure and test product quality

* Documenting inspection results and communicating them to appropriate personnel

* Approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products

* Developing comprehensive inspection plans.

* Driving the operation and programming of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs), both manual and Direct Computer Control (DCC) using CMM Manager.

* Experience with programming Vision Systems is highly desirable.

* Spearheading correlation studies and Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (Gauge R&R).

* Overseeing general inspection activities.

* Delivering concise and actionable feedback on nonconformities via the Non-Conforming Material Communicate nonconformities using the Non-Conforming Material Reports system.

* Participate in ISO 9001 audits.

Requirements

* Be detail oriented and able to identify and report on any quality non-conformances or defects

* Be able to operate inspection equipment particularly CMMs

* Be able to read and interpret technical specifications and blueprints

* Be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
