What we are looking for!
Starting at $22.50/hour we are looking for a Lead Shift Supervisor that works with the Director, Assistant Director and Resident Monitors at our Brownstone Reentry Center, we work in partnership with the Washington Department of Corrections to maintain operations and security. We work with men and women that are re-entering the community from incarceration. The Transition House assists these individuals by providing support and resources to be an engaged member of our community.
The primary responsibilities of a Lead Shift Supervisor are to meet or exceed the expectations described in the job description and performance expectations. In addition, promote a prosocial
environment that fosters transition, personal growth, independent living, and the opportunity to transition successfully from prison to the community. This is accomplished by adhering to
policy, procedure, modeling appropriate behavior, and completing day to day operations as it pertains to a Reentry Center program. As Lead Shift Supervisor, it is your responsibility to oversee shift activities of employees and
residents and maintain facility safety and security. Lead Shift Supervisors are expected to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and community partners to support the overall success of the program and provide input on operational policies and procedures.

EXPECTED SCHEDULE
This position usually requires working 8-hour rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, weekends. The
Transition House Inc. provides security and operations to these Re-entry centers so they must be staffed
24/7, 365 days a year, so day, weekend, evening and overnight shifts are to be expected. In addition,
employees may be required to work paid overtime.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● High School Diploma or GED
● Two-years of Corrections/Reentry Center experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
● One year of college or vocational school.
● Four-years law enforcement/Corrections/Reentry Center experience.

Supervise Resident Monitors on shift
