GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION Responsible for assisting Supervisors to manage in-house and contract work utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software and other resources as required to properly maintain the Collection System. Examples of Duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Produce, maintain, and upkeep data for work orders and tracking reports.
Write system scripts and reports to produce various forms of data types for various departments and personnel.
Perform statistical analysis of Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Study (SSES) data.
Monitor, edit, close, and track SSES data defects.
Work with Database Administrator, Project Administrator, and Information System Analyst (GIS) for update and enhancements which improves our data structure and reporting capabilities.
Track rainfall information, create and maintain maps/spreadsheets of all rain events, and monitor rainfall dashboard.
Recordkeeping and log of all capacity SSOs information reported.
Research any new capacity SSO location and take appropriate action.
Maintain historical records and create work orders when necessary.
Assist with contract documents or submittals when requested.
Create maps and presentations for various projects and departments.
Establish and maintain effective teamwork, working relationships with fellow employees, customers, and the public.
Follow established work procedures and practices.
Follow safety practices and guidelines.
Undertake any reasonable request within capabilities that is for the good of the community and the utility.
Typical Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Minimum (required):
High School graduate or GED.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations (required):
Valid Arkansas driver's license.
Experience & Training (preferred):
3 years of experience in wastewater procedures.
2 years of experience using EAM or similar databases.
Some experience and/or training in administrative office procedures.
College level computer classes desirable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (preferred):
The ability to pay attention to detail when working with data to make accurate conclusions and predictions.
Knowledge of filing systems and other types of record keeping.
Knowledge of modern office methods to include the proper use of computer software and phone systems.
Knowledge of computers using Windows-based word processing software, spreadsheet and database applications a plus.
Familiarity with all aspects of sewer maintenance, including cleaning, construction, and Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Studies is preferred.
Ability to design reports to analyze Collection System data.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
