Americollect Inc. is Hiring a Training Facilitator (Medical Revenue Cycle) Near Manitowoc, WI

Description

The Training Facilitator (Medical Revenue Cycle) is responsible for developing and facilitating the training that builds the knowledge, skills, and abilities of AmeriEBO’s contact center teammates.

  • Collaborates with Human Resources and operational leaders to welcome, onboard, and acclimate teammates new to Americollect and AmeriEBO. Shares assessments of abilities, behaviors, learning styles, and more to support the post-training transition. Makes recommendations to optimize the acclimation experience to build engagement and retention.
  • Partners with operational leaders to assess the knowledge, skills, and abilities of trainees entering contact center positions.
  • Develops training schedules, curriculum, materials, and exercises to address knowledge, skill, and ability gaps of teammates within the contact center. Makes modifications to trainings based upon observations, assessment results, and feedback from learners and operational leaders.
  • Reserves and prepares training locations to create a welcoming and positive learning environment. Collaborates with IT/Business Solutions to ensure necessary resources are available.
  • Develops and facilitates assessment tools such as tests and simulations to measure the adoption of training concepts and readiness for entering into contact center positions. 
  • Partners with teammates in contributing to quality control efforts by interpreting the results of comparing contact center documentation and omni channel communications with clients and patients to established standards driven by business strategies, expectations for teammates, expectations of clients, and industry laws and regulations. 
  • Takes steps to intervene with lack of understanding in the classroom, developing action plans to help learners meet the expected outcomes of the trainings.
  • Facilitates classroom-setting virtual trainings. Modifies approaches towards training to appeal to a diverse set of learners and learning styles. 
  • Develops computer-based trainings by leveraging course development software, such as Articulate.
  • Sets expectations for the classroom, including expected behaviors and outcomes. 
  • Addresses any issues arising out of teammates not meeting these expectations, facilitating sensitive conversations and pursing disciplinary action as agreed upon with Human Resources and/or leadership. Handles these matters with care and confidentiality and maintains appropriate documentation. 
  • Keeps detailed records of training participation, completion, and assessment results.
  • Supports the maintenance of content for operational training resources such as the WIKI, intranet pages, and other reference guides.
  • Performs project work as requested by leadership. 

This role is provided in a work from home capacity; however, it can be done also from our home office located in Manitowoc, WI. This role is open to any individuals that currently reside in the following states: Wisconsin, Michigan, and Iowa.

Requirements

  • 1 year(s) of experience within the healthcare revenue cycle industry preferred.
  • 1 year(s) of experience with medical insurance and billing processes preferred.
  • 1 year(s) of experience mentoring or coaching peers or contributing to learning and development efforts in a professional setting preferred, specifically delivering presentations.
  • 1 year(s) of experience providing customer service in a contact center environment preferred.
  • 1 year(s) of experience performing project work or contributing to process improvements preferred.
  •  Achievement of the Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist designation preferred.
  • Proficient in leveraging learning management systems and course development software preferred.
