Strategic Operations Director 
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employee Classification Salary, Exempt
Starting Salary $80,000
Reports To Chief Operating Officer

About the Role
The Strategic Operations Director is part of the organization's senior management team and is responsible for the planning and execution of the organization's strategic efforts. This includes working closely with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) on researching and analyzing relevant and applicable innovations, programs and project management oversight, and technology integration and workflow strategies. 
Department & Purpose
Operations
Responsible for innovation and new program/ service development; elevates market industry trends, forecasts, government regulation and merger and acquisition prospects to innovate and ultimately operationalize successful new programs, strategies and services. 
Essential Functions of the Role
  • Leads specific departmental and organizational-wide change and integration initiatives
-Management of the Integrated Support Services and Remote Support Service teams ensuring that services are person-centered, inclusive, and aligned with the organization's mission and values
-Plans and implements company-wide initiatives
-Communicatees and ensures initiatives are understood by all affected groups
-Analyzes and documents input from external experts and specialists, government agencies, and interval staff experts and end-users 
-Keeps up to date on needs of the community the organization serves (e.g., where innovation can improve services provided)
  • Oversees implementation of compliance, quality assurance, and strategic planning
-Measures and analyzes the initiatives' metrics and reports findings and recommendations timely.
-Develops and implement polices, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance with all regulatory and licensing standards; conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and identify areas of improvement 
-Leads the implementation and operationalization of new projects 
  • Oversees the departmental budget and appropriately allocates resources
  • Models The LADD Way (TLW) and manages direct reports ensuring their performance is aligned with TLW and the policies and practices set for the department
  • Represent LADD in a positive manner as appropriate
  • Keeps up-to-date on all relevant trainings and certifications
  • Responds timely to requests for information both internally and externally 
Additional Responsibilities 
  • Serves as point of contact for strategic initiatives when necessary (such as committee meetings, staff meetings, external events, etc.)
  • Serves as an advocates for the organization's mission and programs in the community 
  • Hires and trains staff as necessary 
Education/ Skills & Experience 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years of progressive management/supervisory experience 
  • Exceptional data management and data analysis skills; ability to understand and clearly explain relevant governmental regulations and legislation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software platforms 
  • Familiarity with technology integrations and successful change management processes and techniques
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines and deal with unexpected challenges
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; excellent presentation skills
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work schedule will normally be Monday through Friday and may include weekends and/or evenings 
  • Job will include being in an office environment as well as remote sites; and may require travel to other locations
