Advanced Composites is Hiring a Color Specialist I Near Sidney, OH

Description:
? Effectively maintain open communication between Production, QC, R&D, S/R, & Color staff to coordinate successful finished goods color production
? Sample Collection, Injection Molding, and Data Recording of finished goods for quality control testing purposes
? Evaluation and adjustment of all Production color during operation
? Troubleshooting, identifying, and resolving color issues during production
? Assist department management with identifying, reporting and/or initiating corrective/preventive actions for nonconformance?s related to the quality and environmental management systems where appropriate.
? Filing and Organization of Color Records
Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance Responsibilities
? Comply with, work to, and provide support for all Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Laboratory management systems, policies, procedures, work instructions for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO/TS16949, and ISO17025.
? Support compliance with all other applicable regulatory (such as OSHA) and company OH&S and EMS requirements.
? Comply with all ACP Company rules, policies, procedures and report any/ all hazards, incidences and accidents identified and/ or witnessed directly to the supervisor/manager, and Plant Safety department.
? Is aware of the significant impacts, associated aspects, and the legal requirements that are inherent with acquired duties, identified hazards, assessed risks, and implemented controls within his/her dept.

Operating Testing Equipment ? QC-type work
Machinery Calibration/Maintenance/Repair ? Spectrophotometer calibration each shift
Driving Skills ? Forklift
Inventory Control ? Scanning
Recordkeeping ? Testing matrix

Experience, Education/Training and License
? 1 year color matching experience preferred (transferable skills/experience will be considered)
? High School Diploma or Equivalent
? Color training a plus
? Able to perform calculations using percentages and/or conversion between lbs or grams
? Ability to pass Munsell 100 Hue Test
? Basic Computer Skills
