Essentra is Hiring a Commercial Sales Manager Near Erie, PA

Essentra Components is immediately hiring for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager at our Erie, Pennsylvania location to lead our Eastern Region Sales team. In your role as the Sales Manager you will grow market share, through both existing and new customers. You will achieve success in your role through the coaching, training and developing of the Sales team which includes both Inside and Outside Sales representatives.

Essentra is a global market leader in plastic injection molded, vinyl dip molded and metal components for our partners in the equipment manufacturing, automotive, industrial electronics, fabrication, medical devices, renewable energy, production machinery, construction and agriculture industries.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue sales targets.
  • Lead, develop and coach a 10 person sales team to ensure sales targets are achieved.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Essentra product range and proactively maximize all sales opportunities.
  • Establish team direction, strategy and daily activity including day-to-day balancing of workload.
  • Develop effective working relationships with other internal departments.
  • Provide monthly regional sales activity reports to the Director.

You should have the following skills, experience and/or qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • 4 years sales leadership experience including account management and regional sales management.
  • Experienced in hiring, training, managing, and developing Inside Sales and Outside Sales representatives.
  • Self-starter with the ability to develop/implement strategies in line with the company's business vision.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
