Accounts Payable Responsibilities

· Process invoices and associated payments

· Verify contract pricing, and provide proper account coding

· Perform vendor, payment variance analysis

· Assist in preparing account reconciliations as assigned

· Follow internal control policies and procedures

· Build relationships with Operations and other Finance and Accounting functional teams to assist in executing activities

· Identify and implement improvements to add to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company.

Requirements

· Accounting experience, preferred 

· Oil and gas industry, preferred

· Polished and effective customer service skill set

· Detail oriented

· Understand business payment processes

· Flexibility to grow and change with company needs

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Currently enrolled in an associates or bachelor’s degree program through in accounting, finance, or business 

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite plus advanced Excel skills

· Available to work full-time (40 hours/week), during the summer of 2022

· Compensation ranges from $18 to $20 hourly based on experience

· Working Monday through Thursday in the office with the option of working from home on Friday

· Able to participate in the company 401K
