As a Host/Server at Redbird, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while also providing exceptional service during their dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Host Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they arrive at the restaurant
• Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Monitor dining room activity and anticipate guests' needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host station area

Server Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly and with attention to presentation
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a host, server, or in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and service
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
