As a Cashier/Runner at Redbird, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers both at the checkout counter and by expediting food orders.

Responsibilities:

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt and courteous service at the checkout
• Ring up purchases accurately and efficiently using a cash register or POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision
• Provide assistance and answer questions about products and promotions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area

Runner Responsibilities:

• Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Assist with food preparation and plating as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cashier, runner, or in a customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and food orders
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
