Summary of the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development and Marketing Manager to drive growth and expansion in the activated carbon market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and partners.

As part of the sales team, the Business Development and Marketing Manager must be able to provide reliable solutions for a range of technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction before and after the sale. This position requires the ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with people of diverse backgrounds and education throughout the sales/customer cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development:
• Identify and prioritize new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and market expansion initiatives.
• Prospect and generate leads through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized solutions and proposals for prospective clients, addressing their specific needs and challenges.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, distributors, and industry partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert advice and solutions to help them achieve their business objectives.
• Anticipate and respond to client needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a positive customer experience at all touchpoints.
• Market Expansion and Product Innovation:
• Explore new market segments and applications for activated carbon products, identifying opportunities for diversification and growth.
• Collaborate with R&D and product development teams to innovate and enhance our product offerings, addressing evolving customer needs and market demands.
• Sales Support and Performance Analysis:
• Track and analyze key performance metrics, market trends, and competitive activities to inform strategic decision-making and optimization of marketing and sales efforts.
• Input and support of the Company’s CRM system to ensure an ongoing record of all customer interactions
• Market Analysis and Strategy Development[DB1] :
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential growth areas in the activated carbon industry.
• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our activated carbon products across various channels, including digital marketing, trade shows, industry events, and targeted advertising campaigns.

The Candidate

Education/Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).

Key Attributes

• Interest and ability to learn about activated carbon, related markets and applications, and emission regulations
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong writing skills (Writing sample requirement) and overall communication skills
• Ability to operate independently
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
