Video Content Creator

We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Video Content Creator to join our team. This person enjoyes connecting with others, and will be responsible for creating engaging storytelling content across various platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, etc.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, energetic, and has a strong passion for telling stories that resonate.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain an ongoing video content calendar to ensure constant creation and sharing of videos
• Shoot, edit, and produce high-quality videos, mainly short-form vertical videos for TikTok and Instagram
• Produce and release two videos per day
• Manage company social media profiles
• Manage the promotion of company events
• Tell the story of our culture, team, and business mission in an engaging and consumable way
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop new marketing campaigns
• Edit videos & podcasts for marketing campaigns and social media channels
• Help maintain our brand guidelines and ensure that all marketing materials adhere to them

Requirements:

• High video/audio editing skills using software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition or Final Cut Pro
• Familiarity with video and studio equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment
• Understands vertical video platforms, storytelling, algorithms, and how to create engaging content
• Understand social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• At least two years of experience in video production, marketing or a related field

Qualified applicants will be asked to submit a portfolio or samples of their work.

This position is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm. The right candidate must be located in or near Ankeny, Iowa, working primarily from our Ankeny office. Occasional travel to our other offices located throughout the state of Iowa. Salary plus benefits including 401k with match after one year of service, company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance, and company-paid life and long-term disability insurance. Pay will be commensurate with experience.
