Our client, a reputable and dynamic law firm located in the heart of Miami, Florida with a focus on immigration law, dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services to businesses and individuals navigating the complexities of immigration processes seeks a talented and motivated Business Immigration Paralegal to join its team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration law, with a focus on business immigration matters. This role will involve working closely with attorneys and clients to assist in preparing and filing various immigration petitions and applications, managing case files, and providing exceptional support throughout the immigration process.
Responsibilities:
  • - Assist attorneys in preparing and filing non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1, EB-2, and EB-3 petitions.
  • - Conduct research on immigration laws, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy in case preparation.
  • - Prepare and assemble documentation for immigration filings, including forms, supporting documents, and petitions.
  • - Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation, and provide updates on case status.
  • - Maintain organized case files, including tracking deadlines, managing documents, and updating case management systems.
  • - Coordinate with government agencies, clients, and third-party vendors to obtain necessary documents and information.
  • - Assist with drafting correspondence, legal documents, and client communications related to immigration matters.
  • - Stay current on changes in immigration laws and regulations, and assist in updating internal resources and training materials.
  • - Provide administrative support to attorneys and assist with other duties as assigned Qualifications:
  • - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • - Minimum 3 years of experience working as a paralegal in immigration law, with a focus on business immigration matters preferred.
  • - Strong knowledge of immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, including experience with non-immigrant and immigrant visa petitions.
  • - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management software.
  • - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
