Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

Overview:

  • Spearhead the setup and scaling of our client site, from initial talent acquisition to full operational staffing, demonstrating a keen "startup" mentality with the agility to adapt strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to establish efficient workflows, communication channels, and performance metrics that support the achievement of shared goals.
  • Regularly assess and report on recruitment and staffing outcomes, leveraging data to inform continuous improvement initiatives.

Strategic Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding, to acquire top-tier talent for various roles within the supply chain and manufacturing sectors.
  • Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition frameworks that align with our clients' evolving needs, ensuring a seamless recruitment process throughout.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique staffing requirements and advising on best practices for talent acquisition and retention.

Onsite Staffing Management:

  • Oversee daily HR staffing operations at client sites, ensuring staff adherence to safety protocols, performance standards, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Initiate and conduct safety observations, trainings, and assessments to foster a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Manage and resolve any staffing issues on the ground, including attendance management, employee counseling, and performance evaluations, ensuring high levels of employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all legal, contractual, and company policies and procedures, conducting regular audits of staffing practices and documentation.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and legislative changes that may impact staffing and recruitment strategies, applying insights to enhance service offerings.

Position Requirements (Education/ Skills/ Technical):

  • 3 plus years’ experience of full-cycle Talent Acquisition and staffing management within a warehousing/light industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Experience setting up and scaling new manufacturing sites.
  • 1 year of demonstrable leadership and management experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, combined with knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information discretely and professionally.
  • Strong customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility with schedule, and potential overtime, as determined by the manager.
  • Ability to spend time on the client production floor.
  • Employment contingent on successful completion of criminal background, drug screening.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic level Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
  • Basic data entry skills.
