STM Associates is Hiring a Health and Safety Supervisor Near Tucson, AZ
STM Associates has been retained by a globally diversified mining and metals company to find a SUPERINTENDENT of HEALTH, SAFETY, & SECURITY for their metals mining project located in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. This position REQUIRES RELOCATION to Tucson, AZ or Santa Cruz County AZ.
The Superintendent Health, Safety & Security will be responsible for the development & optimization of the health and safety operating system as well as people development as the site moves from project to operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a health sciences discipline
- At least 7 years of experience in an underground mining setting (exposure to shafts, decline, material handling systems, etc)
- Health & Safety experience at a major capital project in either an EPCM or client role
- Proven history of managing small teams
- Previous experience in mine rescue and/or emergency management is preferred.
***RELOCATION TO PIMA OR SANTA CRUZ COUNTY ARIZONA IS REQUIRED.*** Relocation assistance is available.
