The Fountain Group is Hiring a Logistics Coordinator II Near Auburn, WA

Location: Auburn, Washington
Pay: $26.33 -$28.21/hour
ATTENTION: It is a requirement of King Co, WA that this individual be COVID-19 vaccinated?
Experience: 4 - 7 years. Receive, store, record and dispatch project inventory in accordance with the project requirements. Communicate with the PSERN Project Management team to ensure a common understanding of project processes and activities. Confirm procedures for safe operation of the warehouse. Ensure project inventory is correctly labeled and recorded. Ensure the warehouse is clean, tidy and secure at all times. Conduct all activities in a safe manner and in accordance with approved safety procedures. Must have experience in a warehouse/store environment. Demonstrable experience in logistics control, including inventory control and stocktaking. Demonstrated understanding of OH&S requirements, particularly related to the operation of a warehouse. Demonstrated PC skills, particularly experience with spreadsheets and word processing. This person needs to be forklift certified. This person should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
The job is on site 90% at the MSI PSERN warehouse located at: 4530 B Street NW, Suite B, Auburn, WA 98001. The other 10% is driving a MSI fleet vehicle or rented truck to deliver equipment to local installation sites.
Additionally, this person should have a proactive mindset and be a team player.

Assignment duration: roughly 1 year, starting ASAP through Feb 2024
Please provide the Work Schedule (and if this resource works any OT? if so, please provide an estimation on how much): Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm, minimal OT, but if required no more than 5-10 hours per week.
How long will the training be for this resource before they are expected to work independently: A week or so, however we expect them to know how to use a forklift as we will not be providing specific forklift operator training.
Interviews Information (How many interviews and what type of interviews): Up to two 30-45 minute phone and/or remote video interviews

Reason for new request: As MSI continues to process 17k of subscribers, we need someone in the warehouse to receive, inventory, QC, package, and deliver subscribers.

What would be some nice-to-have skills for candidates and why? (e.g. experience in retail, familiarity with X programming language) Truly want someone that is energetic , outgoing and has a good sense of urgency. This person has a proactive mindset and is a team player.
Is it necessary for candidates to have industry experience for this role? Why or why not? Yes due to the need to have understanding of OH7S requirements, Particularly related to the operation of a warehouse.
